The W. 43rd Drive area (AF002 - W. 43rd Drive and Ulysses Way) is a neighborhood of high concern. Easley Road is the primary access to this community. Homes here are scattered throughout native vegetation on the southeast side of N. Table Mtn. Most have overhead powerlines and there are propane tanks. Although a few of the newer homes have ignition resistant (IR) siding, roofs and sprinklers, most homes are older construction that have at least partial wood siding with flammable decks, stairs and/or fences. Access to most of the homes is paved, but roads are steep with sharp hairpin turns. There are only a few good turnarounds for apparatus. This neighborhood is hydranted and N. Table Mountain Water provides the hydrant maintenance. Many homes with address markers missing, non-reflective or not easily visible from the street.
